About

The people in the pictures are my world. Deborah and I have been married since 2006 and have three beautiful daughters. Madelynn (13), Rebekah (10), and Isabelle (4) have brought joy to us and have been a blessing from the Lord.

Deborah comes from a small town in Kentucky, graduated from the University of Louisville and is a wonderful mother. She currently teaches first grade at a local elementary school.

As a family we enjoy board games, trying new restaurants, and spending time together. Madelynn appreciates a good movie and Rebekah finds happiness in creative activities.

The Chess Club closed in 2020 due to COVID. Besides the commitment to our family, I currently serve as the president of the Southwest Little Rock Chess Club. I formed the club in 2017 because I needed to have something in front of me that allowed me to actively pursue friends outside of our local church. The club received our 501c3 status last year. We’re the most active chess club in the state. We award our Standard of Chess Excellence Award each year to local children who display leadership ability and sponsor young chess players with memberships and tournament entry fees.
